Acro World Cup 2014
This year the Acrobatic Paragliding World Cup (APWC) had a few ups and downs as weather was far from perfect and some events were canceled last minute. Luckily Italian organizers of last years AcroMax reacted quickly and staged a new event in the very last moment. All together we had three competitions this year. Two in Italy and one in Albania. The first stop in Pogradec, Albania was gifted with pretty good weather, but one towing boat had problems so we couldn’t do our runs quickly. The second stop in Italy – Omegna was lucky, as even with some rain and we could finish all needed synchro and solo suns. The APWC final, AcroMax2 in the Northeast of Italy, close to Gemona was super unlucky with a lot of rain. In the end we got two good days on the weekend to pull-off the event. Overall I took 8th spot after all the three events and I look forward to the next season comps. Big thanks to Flyhard and Aircross for their support during the season. Without you as well as all my friends it would not be possible! Thanks!
